Bile duct

Hi can anyone tell me what does it actually mean if your common bile duct is quite dialated ? And does it go hand in hand with with PBC ?

The bile ducts is what our immune system is attacking. This is where it all, being PBC, stems from. The ducts are what filters the bile through your liver. Our immune system seems to think that these aren't good for us so it's slowly destroying them. It sounds like you are at the beginning stages of this dreaded disease? Stay strong❣️

I don't know what stage I am , never knew there was a problem as I went to doctor with an unrelated issue , but according to consultant I have had this for a long time , the only thing I would say that I was having from a long time ago was upper abdominal pain after I ate , this was sometimes not every time , and the only relief I would get was for someone to rub my back and "wind" me like you do a baby . Having said that I haven't experienced this pain since being diagnosed . Which is a relief for me . I will stay strong and I hope you do too thank you so much for the advice x
