I have pbc and after ct scan doc says I have proximal small bowel thickening of 30-40 cm does anyone else have this and is it related to pbc

Hi Sophie,

I don't know much about this area of PBC, but in the past on here some people have talked of various digestive problems. What does the Doctor plan to do, has he said? Also, are you sure he said 30-40 cms? That's pretty big.

If no one else - who really knows their stuff in this area - answers, I would read through past questions to see if similar topics have come up in the past, and then maybe re-post after the Easter weekend. Things can be a bit slow on here at weekends, and I guess the holiday will make it more so. Take care, I hope all goes well.

I got a copy of my ct scan printed out and it said thickening of the small bowel 30 - 40 cms I have been told the doc will do enteroscy and mri I have googled it but was a bit too complex for me to understand x

Thanks grittyreads I will read back on questions am scared of enteroscopy I know someone who has had one very painful xx
