Hi im new to all this.anyone else get back and shoulder pain? Diagnosed last year with pbc but also have under active thyroid.

Yes I get a lot of shoulder pain. It was that which led to my diagnosis in a round about way. I do also get back ache but not as much.

I have the same conditions as you and yes I have the most horrible lower back pain, I find if I do just a little bit too much it is worse, also find when it is bad to straighten up fully really hurts even to lie in bed straight hurts, I have to bring my knees up, have thought about going to doctors but these days I am afraid if they look for anything they will find something so I stay away, take care sue

Hi- I get shoulder pain and numbness and leg pain. I know I'm not suppose to take NSAIDs but sometimes I'm so Achey I do... I'm trying relaxation techniques and hoping to exercise when I feel well!!! I can totally relate!! Keep telling yourself "you are well and it will be well!" I do deep breathe more these days... Good luck.. U are not alone :-)))

Hi!

Also the inflamed or otherwise irritable duodenum causes pain especially in the middle of the back and in the right shoulder blade. Propably Urso might be part of this thing, it should always be taken with some food, not on empty stomach.
