I have just come across this article. Very long and slightly off topic but I found it fascinating. It backs up what we on this forum have found out That a lot of doctors base their treatment on research that has been discredited.

Thank you charks .A very good , thought-provoking read .
Very interesting!
I didn’t think I had time to read the full article but I found it very interesting and absorbing. How fitting that it was written by a Greek scholar.
Thank you for posting the link.
Great common sense shown in that article. So much medical research - especially drug research - seems to find the answers being looked for. And scary that the people we rely on for treatment are so reluctant to let go of faulty conclusions (like the 3 monthly B12 injection rule that no-one can even find the origin for!)Thanks for sharing charks.
Great article. Makes alot of sense . Thanks for sharing
I did read it, but well you could argue to stop all medication in that respect, including vitamin B12! Medicine has certainly saved my husband's life. And antibiotics have stopped me having a bad infection. The pill seems to work for lots of women, or was that just timing!
Yes, the efficacy needs assessment by truly independent agencies. So WTF is NICE up to regards B12!! And yes, weaning GPs off old prescribing habits and out of date knowledge, I can see is a massive issue.
The tail certainly wags the dog when it comes to big pharma.
