The B12D support group have Dr Andrew Klein as a guest speaker - if you are not a member of B12D you could join (it’s free) as this is definitely a meeting not to be missed!!!
Subject to the weather I will be sitting outside with a mug of freshly bredwed coffee, headphones in - ready to listen to the only medic who would listen when I was diagnosed and on my knees unable to cope and sadly who is still the only medic in my expanding medical circle who will listen now.
He is definitely a rare gem, a rose amongst thorns as my grandmother liked to say!

not overly impressed with the B12d website. Firstly I can’t open many of the links on there, despite registering. Also I read through a paper called ‘I feel terrible after my injection’, which was very informative, but there were loads of spelling errors! They need a good spell checker!
I have observed the same but in fairness it’s a voluntary support group and as always funds are limited, whilst the spelling is poor it at least shows provenance of info from genuine folks!
I thought it was great, just felt it would more impact with the powers that be if grammar was better. Just me being picky! Can you open any of the links on there?
I would love to attend the event but I’m unable to find how to become a member. I tried to register on the members page but I can’t seem to submit after filling out my details? I didn’t know about this group so good to hear about it. Unfortunately quite a few of the links aren’t working on the website (for me anyway - I’m using a mobile). I’ll try emailing them.
I’m thinking of arranging a consultation with Dr Klein now my GP has removed my prescription (because I admitted SI eod) and because my symptoms are returning. It would be great to hear him speak.
The zoom details are on the website - I hope the group are ok with some of us just turning up. I’m happy to pay a donation.
I've joined as well but cannot find any link or info or newsletter unless it's a case of not seeing the wood for the trees, although I speak to the doctor in Cambridge in a few weeks it still would be nice to follow this.
