Hello good people,
The Patient Revolution is currently reaching out to patients across the globe to ask people for their stories of industrialized health care. I am a member of The Patient Revolution, it's completely free, and I wanted to encourage any and all of you to become members and share your stories of struggle and triumph in regards to getting adequate treatment with pernicious anemia and B12 deficiency. You do NOT have to be a member of The Patient Revolution to share your story.
I have posted before about this group called The Patient Revolution, which is an international non-profit organization whose goal is to dismantle an industrialized healthcare approach to medicine, and make healthcare 'caring' once again. They fight the model where patients with complex and chronic illness are shuffled from one specialist to another in order to maximize profits, while often missing the root cause of those health issues and causing suffering to the patients and their families.
This group was founded by a concerned endocrinologist at the Mayo Clinic Rochester. This is what he has to say about The Patient Revolution:
“We inform, educate, and inspire patients, clinicians and other like-minded people to join The Patient Revolution and lead the change. Through teaching, collaborating, writing, and research, we arm people with the knowledge, courage and tools necessary to revolt.”
Victor Montori, MD
The more voices that are raised, the more we will be heard. If you have the time and strength to share, please consider telling your story and help lift all of us up through the telling of your experiences. You do NOT have to be a member of The Patient Revolution to share your story.
