I have a lunula on one of my fingernails.
Only here would anyone have a clue how exciting that is.

So a lunulae has appeared… 👍🏻you must be healing!
That I am healing and it has accelerated as I improve my self-treatment is definitive. Having a visual is nice.
When I first went to injecting three times a day two people whom I love said "I don't know what you are doing but keep doing it." was very helpful.
I have them only on my thumbs
Yay! Go Wiz! Go!
Fab news!
I have none on 5 fingers and others are so pale that hardly visible.
I hadn’t thought of watching them - I will take more interest in future!
Merry Christmas everyone!

Presence - loss, and return - of lunulae has been a topic on the Thyroid UK forum quite a few times.
Search isn't good but here's a few:
I only have lunula faintly on my thumbs. So they may be coming back. Also the brittle cracking nails are healed. Subtle signs but promising. 🙏
I didn’t know my lack of lunula (thumbs and a tiny peek of an index finger) was a B12 sign. I’m in the thyroid and possibly B12 camp. Currently self injecting for peripheral neuropathy.
I’ve now looked and there is a bit more on my index finger and a very small showing on my middle finger.
Is this a common B12 symptom?
