PA/B12 3x5 handout

Hello everyone, I made this 3x5 two sided card to hand out. I tried to include everything I could on a postage stamp. LOL Let me know what you think. Am I missing anything? If you like it you can download it and print it or upload it to a printing company.

Also, PAS had a lot of information. I didn't realize all the pamphlets and resources and information there is on pernicious-anemia-society.org They even have posters and brochures. I might get a poster for the window at the antique store. It would reach the older crowds like myself because we're antiques. LOL

Anyway, here's the card.

Please see below for the full resolution you can download and print. There are a front and a back.

Also, download it to your phone so you can text it or email it to anyone instantly.

If you print these on a 3x5 index card, my HP DJ3700 needs a bottom border to pull the paper in of .5in. That is a big bottom border. so if printing at home, you will most likely not be able to go edge to edge. So in the settings, choose center and shrink to fit page. Choose 3x5 index paper in the print settings and plain paper under quality.

I uploaded high resolution files so anyone could download it, but they don't look sharp. I wonder if the server automatically resizes large images to save room. If these don't print good please let me know. I'll download them, and print them in the morning to see.

HealthUnlocked do automatically resize/rescale images.

Images on the post (rather than replies) do not have the option to zoom in and see a higher resolution version.

Images on replies seem to be higher quality than those on original posts but, in order to see that you have to zoom in.

It is a bit frustrating to see a lower quality on the original post than on a reply (once zoomed in).

You could post another reply with the image on your original post to make a higher quality version available.

Thank you. I did notice that. I will do that. It's not a large file because it is text so i hope that works. I will repost on reply. Thanks a bunch.

Great idea. One other thought... if the images are low-res when printed - And if you have a Google Drive, One-Drive or apple iCloud account would be to upload to a password protected folder and post the link & pass for access. (This is a faff I know, but a possible solution to get round the forum limitations - If allowed)

Well, I have Google cloud and also a website, but was worried about others ananimity. I don't care about mine. But wasn't sure i was allowed to post a link like that. I will try. Thank you cloudspotting

Ok I posted these new files and when I download them they are correct!!! Yay! they are 1500x900 pixels and print at 3x5 inches on a recipe card. You can print one side and then flip it and print the other side. You can also upload the files to vistaprint or something and have them professionally printed. Even laminated it you wanted to. You could even shrink them down to fit on a business card but the writing would be very tiny.

Correct print size - Back of card handout

One could even keep this on their phone and text it to people or email it!! It fits a phone screen perfectly

Well done EllaNore xx

Thanks Happypensioner. If anyone wants to use it please do. I uploaded the high resolution so if you download it, it should be good. Unless the server edits the quality.

Thanks. 🙂 I printed one at home and it's not hard to read or anything. You can put a 3x5 card in your printer and print one side, then flip it and print the other. Or upload it to places like Vista print

Resurrecting this thread on the cards to say you can find the cards online now: sites.google.com/view/b12-r...

(Thanks EllaNore!)

I also put links to other printable posters from Sally Pacholok and the PAS and Tracey Witty's petition.

Unfortunately I (and everybody else?) missed Sally Pacholok's B12 awareness day/week/and month back in September, but we can still spread the awareness! :)

Sally Pacholok has a B12 awareness day? Darn I missed it.

Your very welcome. Thank you for setting up such a great venue for accessing all this helpful information.

Jade that website looks so wonderful. Did you start a new post specifically for this? I think it might get lost here. You did such a wonderful job on all this information, It deserves a post of its own.

Nope I didn't start a new post, feel free to do the honors since it's your work 😄

I found another awareness brochure in the meantime, again from Sally Pacholok. It's a tri-fold pamplet. I will quickly add it. b12awareness.org/wp-content... Time to get that printer working 😅
