Chris says that dealing with B12 or PA always made him feel uneasy. Why? He missed a chunk of his medical training because he was out rocking and rolling in 1960s Manchester.
Fair enough. We've all been there.
But beyond recognising the problem - B12 deficiency - all he could do was follow the guidelines.
Useful to remind ourselves that GP's are detectives looking for issues. So their training/knowledge cannot really match the range of issues caused by B12.
Only with greater awareness of B12 will medics change their view.

wow that was worth the watch . So many times I went to the dr and was told your depressed ! Who wouldn’t be if they have undiagnosed PA . I’ve also got under active thyroid which was diagnosed a year or two later . Let hope more GP learn about this problem and cheap treatment to give .
This video was put on Utube four years ago yet many of our Drs still dont understand our condition a little progress has been made with regard to treatment !
That is fantastic and I so wish my GPs were even a tenth as thoughtful. I would send it to the surgery if I thought just one would watch and digest it, but it would probably just add to my label of ‘bonkers and attention seeking’ 🙁
Very nice, thanks for posting. It does seem like the art of clinical diagnosis no longer exists.... they only care about labs, and they're not even consistent in their interpretation of those.
