Hello! I know we are all different but for those that did twice a week injections, how long did it take you to be able to move to once a week?
I did once a week for 5 months then my neurologist moved me to twice a week which I’ve been doing for 3 months. I have a neurology appointment tomorrow so I decided to see how my body would respond if I tried to make it a week between injections. Made it to day 4 and noticed a slight increase in symptoms and now on day 6 and neuropathy is something fierce!
Just wondering how long it might take me to get to a point where I can actually do once a week without this kind of effect.

I think because you get symptoms after 4 days perhaps that is when you should your next injection. If you try to extend the time between them just add 1 day, try that for a few weeks. I would not extend them into symptoms again, damage could start again. How long it takes varies, I still need them every second day. When I miss a day, or worse still two days [fed up with injections, bored with doing them, need a break] I regret it, I sleep badly, stagger more, more pains in back.
Agree. I only tried it this time because I wanted to be able to tell my neurologist whether I’m ready to go once a week or not. I know when I see him tomorrow he will suggest trying to decrease the frequency and I wanted to be able to have the conversation about how this has gone rather than try it after my appointment and then have to just communicate via email.
Never, yet, in the case of myself and relatives. It's all so individual, hard to say. I suspect the people that frequent the forum will be the ones that need more frequent intervals and haven't been able to reduce (much), so we might all be a bit biased here
me too. i have never been able to space out my injections to more than EOD. I do daily because I exercise so much. I tried weekly for 2 months and my symptoms returned. I've been on daily ever since. I'm doing cyano not Hydroxo.
