Definitely not .
Sorry I replied to wrong person and so I’ve sent this as a photo of it as I hadn’t time to rewrite it !
I've not heard of that.
My friend did get pancreatitis after an atkin diet .
No idea if s coincidence
Perhaps you were poorly without realising and the diet was yiur way if trying to get well.
Then PA diagnosed ??
Not a coincidence at all. Atkins can anger the pancreas rather easily, because the only thing you don’t eat on Atkins is carbs. It can be uncomfortable to eat all the fats with no restrictions. There are several articles out there, but I’m afraid I drew a blank at where to find them.
Hi mate,The atkins diet is a low carb system and I was eating leafy greens, broccoli, sprouts etc , etc. Loads of fruit too which were lower in carbs. I felt pretty good when I was on it and lost almost 2 stones. I was still playing 5 asides, refereeing football amateur games and volunteering for the ambulance car service taking dialysis patients from their home and back again every day of the week except Sunday. I was feeling pretty fit and just can't understand how I managed to contract pa.
If anything it would be the opposite as almost everything you eat on Atkins has, for the healthy person, easy to absorb b12.
