Hi everyone, please can you help. I want to self inject, my problem is I have purchased the b12 ampoules without any problems. I cannot purchase the syringes or needles. I live in ireland so cannot get them here. Tried medisave they don't deliver to ireland. Tried exchange supplies, they were returned to them by customs for lack of documentation . Please can anyone help, my doctor won't even consider giving them to me even though my b12 is 140.

I wondered if there is a needle exchange for drug users in your area.

I realise this is not ideal but some forum members have used these in the past.

People helping in the needle exchange may assume that you are a drug user and you may find that you have to register with needle exchange.

Are you in contact with other B12 deficiency sufferers locally who may be able to tell you where they got supplies from?

Hi sleepybunny, I don't know anyone locally to connect with. This website has been a lifeline for me with all the information and help, I thank God I found it when I did as I dred to think of what condition I would be in now if I didn't. I know some of the people on here are having problems with the medical professionals in Britain, I can only say in Ireland it's impossible dealing with them concerning b12 deficiency. I know I can have the supplies delivered if they come from an eu country but I can't find a supplier. Thank you for your reply sleeoybunny 😊

On top right hand side of page you will see your emblem (sunflower) with the word More. Click on this and you can click on people near me. You might be lucky and find someone who might be able to help !Good luck

Also if you buy B12 ampoules from the larger German pharmacies , they also have injection needles e,g. BODFELD does . Look for Kanüle ( German for injection needles ) You need to know that they express sizes in a different way -e.g. 25 G is 0.5 and 1 inch is 25mm . You can Google to find out

I dont know if they sell needles but it's worth a look. I also dont know if they ship to Ireland. Wish you all the very best 🤗

About the address I gave you...I may have got 48pharma the wrong way round...it may be pharma48 but I cant check just now. This site automatically translates into English so very helpful. X

Have you tried medisupplies.co.uk? They claim to deliver to Republic of Ireland (although the delivery charges are a touch eye watering)
