Hi I'm new on here can anyone help with blood results on here as I am awaiting to speak to dr on Monday regarding my results I've looked online at them and I'm unsure if I am in the folate/b12 levels

Post the results here. Remember to include the units and ranges. Something like -

123 pmol/L (100-400 pmol/L)

Serum B12:- 780 ng/L

Serum folate - 2.9 ug/L

Mean corpus 26.0 pg

Serum c reactive 12.4 mg/L

ESR - 30 mm/hr

The only ones I feel qualified to comment on are the B12 and folate.

B12 is high, so should be no problems there.

Folate is towards the low end. Try taking 400 mcg of a supermarket folic acid tablet each day.

Thank you my dr is calling today to discuss results I have reoccurring anemia 4x past 2 years I also have vitiligo on my face the range for B12 on my results states I'm too high by 120 on my B12 and I've been doing alot of reading stating you can have false results due to antibodies being present in B12 higher than usual results and I have all but 4 symptoms have done for 5 years I've had so many ct/mri scans, tests, cameras and I am a totally different person than I used to be 5 years ago. This is the first time I've had my b12 and folate tested which I find strange as if this turns out to be b12 the nhs have wasted a lot of money on all these tests when they could of simply tested for b12 !! I will keep you updated 🙂
