How long since your injections stopped?

Are you having any symptoms of a deficiency?

You say you are waiting for injections to start up again? So when did they stop?

Your folate is fine. Keep up with the current supplements.

Yes. Which is why I keep asking when your injections stopped. If it was a couple of moths ago then it's no surprise. If it was a year ago it means that the oral B12 is being absorbed and that you may not need injections.

You need to put the range on the folate. My NHS Lab has recently changed the range from 2.8 - 19 to 3.4 - 12.2. The range my lab is currently using would make your folate level a bit too high whereas the previous range would be good.

The B12 level is irrelevant - the time taken for B12 to reduce after an injection varies considerably from individual to individual and can be years for some. If the supplements are working and relieving symptoms that is good - if not then push for reinstatement of injections.serum B12 is a difficult test to interpret before injections. It is almost impossible after injections and using it to manage a B12 absorption problem is fundamentally flawed. It isn't recommended by the BCSH
