I have been self isolating for around 3 weeks as I had been really unwell, possibly Covid but unsure certainly had all the symptoms. Two days ago I decided to have a walk around the lakes it’s very quiet there, since then I’ve had this annoying pain in my groin, could I have pulled something just walking? I was fighting against a really cold wind .I’m also very unfit and still feeling extremely tired,I had increased my my b12 shots while I was ill and I honestly think that helped massively.x

Pulled muscle ?
When I was bedbound and very ill I had deep hip /pelvic pains. I think its when tiuve been immobile this is a typical area for pain through sheer fatigue and muscle weakness . Do ivd been told Never had if before.
Thd pysio told me to use z red thera band above my knees sitting on a chair and open and shut against the band 20 times . He said walking used muscles but doesn't strengthen them. I only got two sessions after waiting weeks at my surgery then hf left then covid hit.
Sk I would suggest gentle exercises indoors to get some strength back
Gkad b12 helped you recover
Thank you Nackapan x
As Nackapan says, sheer fatigue and muscle weakness also pain from glands in the groin area. Exercise - using muscles not used to using. But also you have been/are ill. Lymph glands can react /become congested - lymph needs to remove waste, dead human and viral cells so need to keep moving around in the house, to enable lymph flow. Lymph does not have a pump like the heart for blood, depends on movement. Take care
Hi LynneG just got back from docs ,I had a telephone appointment as my back was killing this morning too so she’s advised could be a kidney infection and prescribed antibiotics which I’ve just picked up.she’s sending sample away to check I’m on correct treatment as I have as history of bad reactions to numerous antibiotics so just to advise labs of allergies as they usually advise type of antibiotic they recommend for type of infection. She was a nice thorough gp thank god. Thanks for suggestions I’ll definately keep that in mind,x
Glad you are getting sorted and good GP. Please remember that antibiotics will damage/destroy your gut microbiome balance. And as all our health depends on our gut microbiome you really need to address this during taking and certainly after your course of antibiotics. ( just incase you are not versed in this, I use Microbz.co.uk probiotic brew - Bio Live Dark - please read the information on their website. Far better than standard probiotic capsules) And remember you are eating to feed your gut micro-organisms not yourself! So eating natural and fresh .
Eating Organic only is best. Herbicides, pesticides and glyphosate also destroy your gut micro organisms - thats what they are intended to do on plants and so this continues and destroys your gut bacteria and micro - organisms when you eat them, also damaging your gut lining - intestinal permeability aka leaky gut.
I had bladder , kidney infections every month for many years. I was prescribed propylactic antibiotics - totally destroyed my health and ended up with autoimmune disease because of the destruction caused to my gut microbiome and gut lining.
Gastroenteroligist at Sheffield Royal Hallamshire Hospital Professor David Sanders wrote a book a few years ago 'Gluten Attack' worth reading to gain an insight about leaky gut and there are lots of books about the relationship between the health of all our organs/skeleton / brain and our gut microbiome . Take care
Thank you LynneG I have suffered with my gut over the years,HPylori was a recurring issue so I’ve been avoiding antibiotics as much as possible but needs dictate again.I dont have gluten or lactose and cook fresh from scratch and my guts been it’s best for a good while now can definately see improvements.ty again x
