Deligtful !

Just as well that loud and stripey flowers don't affect you in the same way as clothes - you'd have lopped it's head off !

Actually I cant t look at that photo for long! And only on a small phone at a distance.

In the garden there are very few flowers so quite hidden . It's only 2 -3" diameter.

I was amazed how bright the photo made it. Also how it showed all the detail. Only taken on my phone

You do remember details and you are very right. If it was the size of a Sunflower it would be compost. .

Two more bags of 'busy' or striped clothes went to the local charity shop thats reopened. My husband has very few t shirts left !! Good job hes never been 'into' clothes really . Certainly not attached as I used to be. I've kept a couple of favourites hidden . Just incase i get to wear them. The prescription coloured lenses I gor a year ago from a professor that created a colour meter machine with a colleague. Mainly for dyslexia but was found to have some uses with people like me.

Initially only used in food shops as help with any glare. Have found recently a few more uses which is good. I also always wear reacterlight prescription glasses too. With a darker pair made up that dont change. The wool felt hat with a deep brim one if my daughters lent me! Is faded and well worn. Sun hats were never as good. Wont look do odd now the weather changing. Cant see her getting it returned!! Bit like s cowgirl with the mask as well. Nor sure about the plastic gloves adding to the look either. Has its advantages though as people stay well clear of me . 🤣The glasses have greeny grey tinge to add to the overall effect and as i couldnt see too choose the frame as too dark the frame is a horrible brown I'd never have chosen. So light though as titanium.

Regular opticians knows me now and choose for me . Always an element of surprise when out of the bright shop. I have them fitted with my eyes shut. I see the same dispenser whi was so patient when I kept going back thinking the glasses/fit prescription wrong before I knew I was getting ill. He is great. The only constant throughout actually.

Well cherylclaire I've written an essay. Hope I've nog bored you.

Good flower to paint perhaps. I will post another growing next to it.

Take care

Not at all boring - I love a story.

I had a student who was dyslexic- he wore glasses with one orange and one yellow lens and had hair like Marc Bolan. Quite a cool retro look, I thought.

Good to have an optician who gets it. Mine made me feel so relieved when he showed me photos of B12 deficiency- damaged eyes, and assured me that the examination had shown mine were okay.

Glad you didn't compost the flower, Nackapan - it's lovely.
