Full run down to self injecting

I've saved 2 pages from Germany to purchase from and also saved medisave page for needles/wipes.

Where can I get a sharps box for used needles?

What kind of needles do I need? I've noticed people talking about using 2 needles... 1 to draw it out and 1 to inject... which 2 is it I need?

Do you put the whole of the needle into the area or just some?

Is there any good videos anyone can suggest of people actually doing it.

Any help and advice is great

You get your sharps box from medisave.co.uk , where you get needles from and swabs . You need a long needle to,withdraw easily -say 21G x1 1/2 inches .and a shorter needle to inject intramuscularly.-25G x 1inch . Yes you insert the needle all the way because the muscle lies quire deeply under the skin . You can choose to inject sub-cutaneously -sub-cut . You then can use a much shorter and finer needle -to inject with , into your thigh or stomach fat . say 30G x 1/2 inch .

There are injection videos on Utube - Some OK , others poor .

Thanks for sharing this link. I've just watched now and can see I've been self injecting in my thigh the wrong way. The doctor in the link injects like the practice nurse injects into my arm so I'll now inject like this and hopefully see some improvement in my energy levels. Keep well.
