Neurologist/MRI B12 deficiency.

Was reading a post earlier about seeing a neurologist and having an MRI and the length of time it takes. I had one taken recently (January) because I have TMD and severe tinnitus (which I now realise could be my deficiency) it was an MRI of my brain and jaw and I was referred by the dental hospital. I was in for almost an hour but they didn’t use any dye, I’ve still to get my results, they did say it would take several weeks to look at it. I’m taking it that a neurologist would find this MRI useful and wouldn’t need to order another one?

Daughter had Brain MRI in July but has since changed Neurologist and she’s just had another done under new neurologist in same hospital as he want s to compare the two for any changes. So yes in a few months which ever neurologist you get they may decide on you having another.

I had one in Nov 2018 after a ct in A and e . It was repeated with neck as well as brain 10 months later be cause if my conti uong symptoms. Ive since requested them both and have them on cds as the neuro opthologist wants to see the actual images rather than radiologist reports. You can also get a copy of them from Gp. I was wrongly just handed one . I dudnt understand it . The Gp woukdnt comment. !! So best to wait until specialist can go over it with you before getting a copy.
