Does anyone know if you can buy B12 injections on Rhodes island please. Had mine stopped in U.K. due to blood serum level being ‘high’. Am now on holiday and can hardly get out of bed. So exhausted. Thank you in advance.

Too long a story to post all details, just need my question answered please.
I remember Martyn Hooper messaging us when he was in Greece on the island of Kos . He wanted B12 ampoules and went to a pharmacy there . He couldn’t actually get B12 on its own . It came with 2 or three other B vitamins . The B12 wasn’t Hydroxocobalamin . It was Cynocobalamin, but that works just as well , but doesn’t stay in the system as long .He bought them and used them . They were cheap . Maybe the pharmacy was out of B12 on its own . It can obviously be sold over the counter in Greece - so just ask for some , and even if it isn’t Hydroxocobalamin but Cynocobalamin, it will work . Get some and enjoy your holiday - They might volunteer to inject you .
Best wishes .
That sounds like Neurobion.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that was he standard.
Thank you to Wedgewood and fbirder, went to pharmacy and was given Neurobion which is B1, B6 and B12, don’t know the strength as can’t read greek and forgot to ask but pharmacist also injected for me. He did say he wasn’t supposed to but did anyway. I got 3 ampules and 3 syringes for less than 4 euros, so got 2 spare if I need to take more. Hopefully, at least somewhat, I will manage for now. I am also taking Solgar liquid B12 so as long as my holiday is not totally ruined that’s a winner. Also for my poor long suffering husband lol. Thank you once again and to all who responded.
And get yourself some Hydroxocobalamin B12 ampoules when you get back home .Easily obtainable from some German online pharmacies .
Soulsister I buy B12 Hydroxocobalamin Ampoules from the Pharmacies here in Crete. Brand name is Articlox. Worth trying another pharmacy and yes I too have injections done in several pharmacies in Greece - usually in the back of the shop leaning on boxes of stock. Thankfully Greeks do not have body awareness - and all is well
just google the city you are in, plus the words "b12 injections." and then call the place to make sure it is a straight b12 injection, not a b12 injection with other vitamins. this reason for this is, a straight b12 injection is 1000 mcg and a mixed vitamin injection is appox 300 mcg. these will be mostly weight loss/medical spa businesses.
pharmacies in US require a prescription.
mine cost $15 but some places are more expensive.
Eat some nice green salads and fruits to get some B9 (folate /folic acid ) I’m surprised that that wasn’t in the B vitamin mixture , as it’s important to work with the B12 . Happy holidays !
I have found a pharmacy that is right next to the General Hospital in Rhodes . Address —G. Seferi 114 Rhodes 85100 -Tel 2241068711 -I Emailed them and they've answered that they do have B12 for injecting . They speak English , so if the ampules you’ve bought are not satisfactory , you could get in touch with them .
last year I stupidly left my supplies of hydroxycobalamin at home. I had no problem purchasing a pack of 3 injectable hydroxyl: 1mg in a 2ml solution. cost ;couple of euro. Name of the stuff was "articlox".
Hi soulsister, no I don’t. I live in Canada. Sorry I couldn’t help.
Glad you can self- inject. I can’t so I use transdermal patches and sublinguals.
