B2 safe level

I have read a few articles that say that B2 is absorded in a different way than B12 so it would be easier to absorb for myself .I have a very low B12 145ng/L hence my B12 injections once every 2mths.Which helps reduce migraine aura by 50% and also pins and needles .

I have heard of people taking 400mg daily of Riboflavin(B2) for migraine aura , but i think that could be a bit too much ,as the RDA is 1.7mg for men and 1.3mg for women.NHS recommend safe max limit of 40mg daily of B2.

I was looking at B complex time released capsules which can help neurotransmitters and could help even further with reduction of migraine aura with taking the B2.

Also how much folic Acid do i need as i see some supplements with 200%RDA .(If any from supplements)

I would be grateful for any advice.

This paper discusses safe upper limits for various vitamins and minerals - which will include B2 and explains the risks - it's a bit old now and there are some regular reviews that you can also find on the EFSA site (European Food Standards Agency)
