Distressing enough for us as adults to feel we are not getting the right or adequate treatment. I hate to think how a parent would feel that they couldnt get enough sympathy and treatment for their child especially when it is a known fact that it is within other close family members.

the mother isn’t always taken seriously and is usually regarded as being obsessed and irrational; The mother’s vigilance is considered to be ‘over the top’. This is exactly what happened to me when I suspected my daughter had PA. with no firm diagnoses she at least continues on 3 monthly injections . I fully expect GP will try and stop theses at some point
