I have taken 12 injections for B12 and the leg pain is still there but the calf muscles in my legs are coming back that I lost in the last 2 years. Also, and this is weird, my cholesterol has alway been about 120 all my life. I had a check up a few days ago and it was 70--the doctor took it again because she could not believe that it was 70 and it came up 70 again
Has this anything to do with the injections?

Mine dropped quite significantly (although not as much as yours) but not when I started injections. It was a year later when I substantially changed my diet.
Interesting, I haven't checked mine again since beginning B12 but before that it had gone from high to extremely high to the point where I was actually checked to see if it was the genetic kind (it wasn't). I did get it down to an extent with (very expensive) supplements and giving up gluten, but that also triggered even worse migraine and "funny turns", ie worse neuro symptoms.
Another factor in lowering cholesterol is regular exercise, a walk every day can bring it down so possibly you have more energy with B12, plus your calf muscles you say are working better, and so you are more active?
Gp gave me statins but I didn't take them. I had porridge (oats) every morning for breakfast and it went from 7.2 to 5.6. That was over a period of 6 months. Porridge is good for lowering cholesterol.
Finally, after several years, a possible answer to my abnormally high cholesterol, and further confirmation of B12 deficiency (with 'normal' blood test). Saw 2 specialists & several GPs without a clue.
Suppose I should now get cholesterol retested to see if B12 has lowered it.
Also strong indications of underlying thyroid problem but 'computer says no'.
