Does anyone else suffer with nausea and vomiting as symptoms of b12 ?

not sure if it is B12 entirely but I do get really bad migraines and they were also very bad just before I was diagnosed - particularly the nausea and vomiting.

One theory around migraines is that they are down to spasms in muscles that also affect the muscles in the walls of your blood vessels ... the spasms definitely affect my gut. It is possible to get 'silent' migraines where you don't get a headache but have other problems - generally including visual disturbances (think I may be starting to get those as well as gut problems didn't end with headache phase of last migraine and I'm still getting some visual disturbance.

Low B12 can be associated with muscle spasms in legs and shooting pains so don't see why it wouldn't affect muscles and cause spasms elsewhere.

Hi, I was diagnosed with PA about 4 years ago and soon after started vomiting which then turned into constant nausea and retching ,non of the anti sickness pills seemed to help although occasionally the injection my GP gave me helped a little. After almost 3 years of not going anywhere without a sick bowl I started to experiment myself with firstly taking orange juice or lemon juice with my meals,unfortunately I then got a lot of heartburn but the nausea improved so I now water down the orange juice to 50% water 50% juice. Later I tried making my own yoghurt and have about 3 tablespoons at some point everyday, and I now include unpasteurized sauerkraut in my diet a couple of times a week. The retching and nausea have eased a lot in the last few months although not gone completely and some times comes back with a vengeance about 2 weeks before my B12 injection is due, but I feel at last I have taken control and continue to try and get rid of this problem . Hope you can find a way of coping its horrible feeling sick all the time. Good luck and best wishes.
