Is it normal to have some bleeding after IM injection? Sometimes this happens not always not sure if this means its not going in the right area or what?

Hi When I inject in the upper outer quad rant of the thigh I do sometimes get a very small amount of bleeding. Also the same when the nurse injects into my upper arm. She says this small amount is perfectly normal.
