B12/PA course

I've just discovered one of the GPs at my practice has been on a B12/PA course. Does anyone in the heirarchy of the PA Society know about this or been involved?

Hi Snookiej ,

Do you know the name of the course, if it is being repeated and who can attend.

I'd like to recommend a course to my GPs.

Unfortunately I have no idea who ran the course, or anything about it. I do have to make an appointment to see this GP so I'll ask questions then.

I have never heard of this although if it is available surely it would be advertised in whatever GP's monthly or something. Though I have given so much information to my own GP and he still looks at me with a sympathetic stupid woman glance. Please can someone find out about this, I do not know how, maybe as mentioned, some of our wonderfull hierachy at Health Unlocked itself. You can imagine hundreds of thousands of us will be leaping (well ok crawling) into our GP Offices. I wonder if the betting world would take odds on how many GP's would bother!

A bit foggy today, but my memory is telling me that I seem to have read on Facebook that one of the FB B12/PA groups' aim is to raise funds and organise such courses for doctors, perhaps some digging around on there, if any one who has posted here is on FB, might throw more light on this. Sorry cannot look now, got to get ready for some more tests and x-rays this morning!!

Could they be referring to this, do you think? Not exactly a course, of course, but it does give doctors a credit for their portfolio: martynhooper.com/2015/11/01...
