Stepping Down

I've decided today to take a step back from the boards.

I hope you all appreciate that this illness has, as it has for many of you, reduced not only my health, but my life to rubble.

I think now it is time to concentrate on what I believe in and where I think I can make a difference - not only to your worlds, but mine also.

Better health to you all!

Good luck! We'll miss you! And we will all be here if you need us.

I think lots of us go through stages when we just can't bear to be around all the poorly folk any more!

Can totally understand, follow your instincts and your heart. I've not been a member long but your posts and replies have been very helpful.

Thank you and good luck for a good 2015.

Sending best wishes Poppet, you have been so helpful on these boards but you need to look after number one. I've only touched the tip of the iceberg in not being listened to and believed, but you're living through a nightmare. Sending as many positive vibes up to you as I can. Stay strong

Also a newbie who has benefited loads from your posts, thank you so much for all you have done for others. I find it is good to know when to let go and look after yourself, and often think of the airplane analogy that you put on your own oxygen mask before helping your child: you can't take care of anyone if you are exhausted. This forum has been an amazing discovery for me, after 45 years of B12D struggling on alone. It seems a very sound and healthy group, so I think you can bow out for as long as you need, knowing that we are OK and still here whenever you feel like talking. Lots of love, Poppet, you really are a Poppet!

Hi Poppet,

Thank you for your well written, and researched posts.

I hope one day, you will write that book I suggested to you months ago.

Take care of yourself.

Sorry to lose you. Hopefully it is only temporary. I was starting to enjoy the exchanges and debates. Take care and all the best. I hope you will continue to post with your unique perspective on this horrendous illness. Thanks, Paul
