I have just done my first injection, easy peasy !!! And I was so worried over nothing.

I found this YouTube helpful.

Well done :-) I've just ordered my first lot to self inject and bit worried myself. Reassuring to know it can be done xx

Well done! Wishing you a speedy recovery, bet you will never look back, even when you get the odd bruise, Marre.

What a beautiful cat! ... I presume it isn't you - would be really impressed by a cat managing to do their own B12 shot ... mine can be a bit of a pain when I'm sorting one out as they rush around and knock everything over.

Its good to feel back in control of your own life.

Thank you Gambit. His name is Noah, a Maine coon I have two others, Kylie and Suki.

They are what makes me want to get out of bed every morning.

I have two moggies ... and regular visits from two sibblings that live two doors down. I've had multiple cats for most of the last 30 years. The last cat I had before these two had a lot of norwegian forest in him - huge paws and he could come down a tree head first. He was enormous but he was so gentle - and one of those rare cats that genuinely was a pussy cat when it came to giving him tablets - which was just as well as he was hyperthyroid and had kidney problems towards the end.

My current monsters are somewhat smaller and now about 18 months old - one female - Sephie (short for Persephone) (ginger and white) and one male - Hades (tabby). They have such different personalities. Hades is the larger but more stay at home. Sephie is the one that does all the hunting (she had two bats this year which is a little distressing - but mainly it's frogs). They have bowls of food upstairs but Hades will still wake me up and insist that I go to the bowl with him whereas Sephie says hello and then disappears for a bite to eat on her own.

Really hope that the injections make you feel better soon.

Congrats. It took me a while to self inject but once I started I didn't know why I hadn't started earlier.
