I tried them 5000 strength. Didn't notice any difference, but I had to rip it off after a few hours as it was irritating me (I'm not good with plasters and adhesive on my skin). But lots of people report that patches help. I'm probably not a good example, I've tried everything going - patches, sprays, drops etc. - in both methyl and hydroxo format, but the only thing that works for me is injections. So that's what I do, frequent injections.

Hi wedgewood, Yep! seemed to work straight away the 5000 dose, lifted me on a real high, but when I tried the next batch I didn't feel anything, almost as though they were fakes. I have some more I will use when I really need them again, but have been also on the B12 pills which seem to be working for Hubby and myself. :)

Even 5000mg patch is not worth it. Didn't do anything for me other than cause skin irritation.

Hi wedgewood, I'm on the 5,000 patches. Like hampster it irritated my skin (I'd stuck it on my tummy) it got really itchy so I put the next one on my thigh and that's been fine. Any effect? I don't think so, but maybe it's too subtle to notice at the moment I've only used about 5. Although with the first one I was positive that after an hour I could feel a sort of 'trickle charge' tingling through my body for a short while but nothing after that. Anyway, as I bought 3 packs of patches I need to use them up so watch this space, I'll be sticking 2 on tomorrow so will let you know if I suddenly become energised! :-)

Thank-you sazzyb. It is great having feedback. All-in-all i think that there is no substitute for injections! Shame. But I suppose everyone is different.

I agree, if I don't improve soon I'll be self-injecting I think.
