Out of curiosity do many people have Raynauds disease and B12 deficiency?
~I do, I have primary Raynaulds and PA amongst other things lol.
Yes,I do and I have multiple of other things.I know several people who developed asthma, well, there seems to be a predisposition for other things to happen when B12 becomes evident.
I know raynauds is not a common thing to get with B12 deficiency ,however that said B12 helps the process of DNA/RNA and obviously the growth of healthy oxygenated blood from bone marrow,so maybe it was a silent gene that became switched on by B12 dysfunctional process`s.Do not take that as the answer ,as raynauds can exist separate from B12 deficiency.I was diagnosed aged 12 with raynauds and pernicious anemia aged 42.
Hi thanks, I was diagnosed about age 12 too but had my first '' attack' at 4 so my 'primary' diagnosis seems correct unless I have always been b12 deficient too. (diagnosed this year (age 30)- no cause explained, been monitored and low for at least the past two years but have had symptoms much longer)
Thank you for the information. I was diagnosed with PA three years ago after suffering symptoms for the best part of three years. Became very unwell before diagnosis. I'm now 75. Various other problems materialized, eg loss of muscle tone, sore mouth and gums, knee problems and now feet. After reading as much about the disease as possible I don't have much faith in the medical profession. My doctor is great but I question whether she fully understands the problems associated with PA. It seems to be, try this and see how you get on. I would like to see a neurologist but so far it hasn't been suggested. I will wait to see how my feet react with more frequent injections. Thank you for your quick response.
