Does anyone know if people with Parkinson's can take food products / supplements that contain collagen?

I don't know about anybody else, but I have been taking collagen powder for about three months. I'm taking freshwater collagen powder by Reserveage. What I have noticed is my stomach does not have the acid reflux as long as I take it, my facial pores have gotten smaller, and my joints don't Creek as much. I take a small, recommended, scoop before going to bed dissolved in a little bit of water. Have not noticed any negative effects. Mary

I put collagen powder in the high-calorie smoothies I make for my husband to help rebuild muscle tissue from when he lost so much weight last year. Very important to use a clean sourced collagen powder derived from grass-fed cows. I take it too and it really helps with one's joints....and my old knee injury! I noticed I could spring up the stairs after a few weeks.

Both my husband with Parkinson's and myself take collagen in pill form. He seems to be doing fine.
