"Atropine is a medication to treat certain types of nerve agent and pesticide poisonings as well as some types of slow heart rate and to decrease saliva production during surgery. It is typically given intravenously or by injection into a muscle."

This does work! djjnurse

I have phlegm. It comes and goes. I am not sure of what causes it. Is there a chance it’s caused by what I am eating?

Take out of diet. Anything dairy, bad oils.

How about starting with questioning what preceded the accumulation of mucous? For example: milk, cheese and dairy products cause this accumulation of thick fluid in my throat. So eliminating the culprit solved the problem without any medication.

My brother got Botox injections in his mouth. I'm sorry I don't know exactly where in the mouth, but it affects the salivary glands. I'm not sure how often but it was effective.

I've had good results with Mucinex, available over the counter without a prescription in the U.S.
