Worry...: Hello all....I know u all do... - Pancreatic Cancer...
Worry...
Hi Miki,
Please come and join us on Facebook (Families in Support of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness), there you will get all the support you need, be able to cry, laugh and vent your anger at this vile disease. I lost my dad to it, and the biggest percentage of our members either have lost someone to it or have someone with it, we even have a couple of members who have it AND two survivors!!!
What you're both going through is completely natural, depression is one of the symptoms of PC, as is weight loss and lack of appetite. But you also have to look after yourself. Please think about coming to join us all, youre assured of a warm welcome and all the support you can cope with! xxx
I joined on my regular fb under michelle devlin yates, but my husband could see everything i was writting..so i went off now am trying to get back in with new fb acct under michelle yates....i have submitted a reguest just waiting for someone to bring me back in
I'll do it if somebody else hasn't Miki, so don't worry. You could have restricted who saw your posts so that you didn't have to do this. Still, th emain thing is that you found us! x
I was thinking of joining on facebook, but didnt want all my friends especially my husband to see what i was writting about.....
Hi Miki , Jayne is right please join the group , i am one of the members that as it , as you will know by my blogs , and i have made some fantastic friends on there , they all help each other and help me and keep me uplifted when i feel down , I had a breakdown 3 months before diagnosis , all these symptoms are common with PC, try and help him think possitive thats what i try to do , even with a terminal prognosis like myself , your body and mind say to fight , and i'm sure your husband will be the same . It is very hard its a hard road to go down . Please look after yourself and come and join us , its a great site , keep strong Love Cath x x x x
Hi Miki,
I agree with Jayne and Cath, what has helped me through has been the support I have had from many different sources. My husband and I were both diagnosed with cancer within 7 weeks of each other. He has prostate cancer and is also having treatment. His is hormones and radiation.
I think it is very important to get all the support you need in order to stay strong for yourself and for your husband. It's a tough journey for everyone involved. Your needs are important too.
Wish you well and send you love and courage,
Big hug,
Maz xxxx
So sorry to hear about your double whammy Maz! xxx
OK...I will give it a try..thank you...
