Have you discussed with gp? You should do.Also when did you last have eyes checked? Could be need glasses.

Do you take pain killers? There is a thought that if you take to many painkillers for headaches you get “rebound” headaches due to painkillers.

Finally I sometimes get a headache near right eye. Usual it seems to be caused by stress….. but I will take painkillers for it.

Headache in right eye is usually migraine.

Definitely not migraine in my case. Hurts but not enough to be a migraine!

Migraine varies. I had them each month, but no flashing lights or vomiting, thank God! Of course there are different headaches from various causes though.

I currently have constant headaches, since 7th February 2022.Mine are work stress related initially along with raised blood pressure.

Blood pressure is down but pressure headaches every day all day.

I've had 2 lots of bloods, been on 10 mg amiltriptoline but had to come off due to an allergic reaction, had my eyes tested, started back on diet and lost 4kg so far. Cut right back on coffee and alcohol. Had 2 sessions of neck and shoulders massage, going for third this evening. Changed pain relief to cocodamol.

The massage really helps to release the tension but only free from pressure headache for about 20 hours, then back with avengence.

I'm off work as I can't function properly and got about a 10 min concentration span. Forgetting loads.

Gp has said I'm doing everything I can and there's nothing else for me to try as the stress is in the workplace, that's what needs to change.

My comment probably no help but I do know your pain

Maybe get some counselling to discuss the stress in your life, and the way to get through it. Not easy at the moment I know. I have had chronic anxiety and OCD since childhood and know how tough it is sometimes to get through! Good luck x

I've said I'll go for ot assessment with work but the issue is that basically we are understaffed and more and more pressure put on us.So until they employ more staff the problem isn't going away.

Yes, it's the same everywhere and you can't speak to anyone any more for the same reason even if you are retired, and spend hours and hours holding on to phones! All a nightmare! Good luck x

Going to have my eyes tested. Meds don’t seem to help. More during the day rather than night time. Driving me mad. Watch the news a lot that probably doesn’t help. Hope you feel better soon

Morning… I was like this for months, constantly taking tablets but nothing worked until I eliminated gluten from my diet … and slowly they stopped eventually. Might be worth a try

You don't get headaches from high BP - that's why many people don't know they have it!

Yes you can

Extremely high bp called a hypertensive crisis can cause headaches. This tends to refer to systolic readings of 200+ and diastolic readings of 100+.

I have had them for 10 years or note. Mostly at bottom neck heading to top of head. Luckily I was private so had MRIs etc and all clear. Opticians said could be the cause and to wear glasses bit vision is perfect so mostly to trick my mind. I do take painkillers for pro lapsed discs so I put it down to them. But good advice on here and not heard anything new.

Unusual though - ask your doc!

Headaches are commonly arise due to heavy workload , stress and nervous problem in the headache. Modern generation people are facing heavy headache because of using smart devices for long hour. So my suggestion is better to avoid using smart devices for long hours, especially in the night hour. Because I also using smart devices in the night time, after leaving that habit, God's grace, I overcome headache.
