An I right it's just a strain?

Hi, had a bit of a scare on Sunday with indigestion that lasted 4 days. Dialled 111 and ambulance blue lighted me to hospital. Had ECG's, bloods for heart as was tachycardic with bit higher BP, along with a x-ray. All came back fine (was just indigestion) but have been put on propranolol. Had it in past also.

Anyway last night my daughter fell asleep on the sofa, so I lifted her to take her to her bed. While doing so I had a sudden pain in my left upper chest, which prevented me from sleeping and has been uncomfortable all day. It's tender to touch, and I have RSI in the left shoulder to which doesn't help.

I think it is a muscle strain as been given all clear with my heart. Thoughts? Just looking for a peace of mind really.

I am like you in that I get various pains in my body which I tend to ignore as my back is broke in 4 places and most of my joints suffered from bad strain due to an accident which I had in the army which is why I ignore most new pains that is except for pain in my chest which I tend to take to the doctor's just in case it is something that could be bad but up to now I am lucky that my heart is the one thing that still works great, if the pain is worrying you then take it to your doctor and let him decide if it could be anything to worry about.

Good luck with your pain, as I always say if you can feel pain then you are still alive which is always good.
