Sleep help
Hi the night time can really be the worst with chronic pain. I know over the counter the nightol one a night can help, you can usually get a cheaper version if you ask. From the doctor zopicone but that makes you mouth taste bitter for the whole of the next day, amatripttlin a antidepressant, clonazam a muscle relaxer and sleep aid. I take the last 2 and find they help alot. Hopefully you can get something that helps because as you know lack of sleep can make chronic pain worst. Try the nightol 1 a night first if you haven't already sometimes I would need to take 2. If that doesn't work talk to you gp.Good luck & all the best
Also Phenergan from the pharmacy

Check with your doctor, Or ask an herbalist. A gram of this with warm water at bed works great!!
Melatonin is available on prescription and online. It is made by the body naturally and it helps to regulate sleep. This is a much better tablet than any prescribed sleep medication that has side effects and it's natural. My son took it to for many years successfully to help with sleep.
I take a low dose of Amitriptilyne but also my nerve tablet gabapentin helps with sleep too.
Hi DarkoI'm so sorry to hear your in so much pain.I have had lupus for twenty years and intracranial hypertension for about five year and the pain never goes away I've been prescribed all sorts of pills and potions during that time and none of them have really worked except oramorph which is a route nobody wants to go down.for the last two weeks I've been trying cbd oil and I've changed my diet(who knew blueberrys tasted so good)for the first time in years I've been sleeping full nights and not waking up in the middle of the night.I know cbd won't work for everyone because we are all unique but I'm pleased I gave it a go .
I have had PHN (post herpetic neuralgia) pain since shingles in January 2019. I was always an insomniac but I was prescribed 30mg of Amatriptyline for the pain. It does nothing fir the pain but I take it about an hour before I go to bed and I sleep through the night. I hate being reliant on this but otherwise I would have been demented by now if I could not get some relief from the pain at least through the night. I really hope you find something. You need your sleep.
