Neuralgia

Does anybody have this and how does it effect you . I have just been diagnosed with it which could be down to my neck.

A prescription Drug for Neuralgia used greatly these days is AMITRIPTYLINE which I believe was used for Depression originally ... but was accidentally found to relieve Nerve Pain .. maybe your Doctor would give you a trial ..

I had a serious trapped nerve in my neck / head for almost 2 years ... tried everything

A neurologist suggested AMITRIPTYLINE .. .... Gone !

Hi Madge , yes Amitriptyline is good nerve pain I tried it a while ago but I went into retention due to Cervical Myelopathy x

Can you try Compound ketamine pills? Research has shown it helps nerve pain.

I have tried many things to control my pain which only takes edge of ..I have never tried Ketamine pills but I had a Ketamine infusion to no avail but thanks for your advice..

What about a low dose fentanyl duragesic?

I have just started Tegretol for Neuralgia and upped the dosage yesterday .
