Eros, are you saying 6Omg daily for the whole 7 months or 60mg starting dose slowly tapering down to zero?

Were you also prescribed a calcium plus Vit D3 supplement for that 7 months, or some other bone protection medication?

If you haven’t had a DEXA bone density scan, then do request one. High dose long term Prednisolone/Prednisone can thin the bones so do get this test done asap to rule out that possible and common side effect side effect as the reason for your pain.

Good luck, and I do hope you have completely recovered from the eye tumour..

It was six months of 60 and then tapering for five or six weeks. I did not have pain immediately there after I taught a very strenuous yoga practice every day for three months. I was probably still filled with prednisone. After that I could barely walk. I’m just wondering if this pain will go away.

When I was on Prednisolone all my back and joint pain went away and I did some rather foolhardy things exercise wise. I paid and paid for months after I stopped them.

I had no joint and muscle pain before the prednisone. This all happened after I stopped it . How long before you were back to normal question
