I have a external Haemorrhoid/s & have been referred to Colonectomy ? The waiting time is 22wks min & thats just to be seen & decide upon course of action. have read up on the different things they can do. Has anyone on here had any treatment for this ? what was your experience like ? any tips. I know at the mo it flipping hurts !! like pooping acid, makes my eyes water & i'm trying my best to 'relax', so not to make it worse !!
Has anyone gone private ? what costs are involved ?
Any tips welcome. xxx

I had to have a hemmroidectomy after two major surgeries they didn’t give me enough stool softener after all the drugs ! Mine got worse so 3 years after I had no choice. They can do a rubber banding technique in hopes it strangles it and they literally fall off. I had too many and it failed so I had to go under the knife. I had 5 all around. Inside out I had an impaction after my surgeries. The actual surgery in my case wasn’t done well. I had complications try pooping through a hole that you can’t put your pinky finger in barely. With stitches bleeding. Because I had so many and doctor wasn’t that good at it wound up in Er on morphine 7 days just get through that part was puking in the bath tub.
This might sound gross but I got to the point where took a Pooh in the Warm bathtub I had too and I never regretted it. And stool softners. I also bought witch hazel from drug store and make up cotton pads and wiped with that and I also had large cotton balls and soaked them in that and put them inside at night you can buy squeeze tube if diaper rash cream and put some of that inside you and out it helps for healing and going #2 it’s a godsend.
oh hell !!! i can go many times a day due to health issues, which is bad enough in itself, along with wind... I'm sorry you have been through this, selfishly i hope this isn't so common .. thank you for the tips though xxx
