Hiya. I've been experiencing pain for over 5 years now. Doctors thought I had frozen shoulder and I have been on a lot of medication to control the pain. I am only 20 and after many many tests they have finally found a tumour located under my right shoulder. Staying positive and hoping and praying it's not dangerous. Going for biopsies very soon they tried using ultrasound to get one but they couldn't get at it and it was too risky to try so have to get one with a CT scan instead. I'm in a lot of pain and very worried over this diagnosis. Has anybody experienced anything like this? Or have any advice?
Greatly appreciate any help.
Thank you.

I think anyone would be concerned in your position and you're doing really well to be so level-headed about it while you're waiting for the CT scan and biopsies.
It's worth discussing additional pain management with your GP to tide you over until you have a clear diagnosis and treatment plan.
Thanks for replying! I spoke with surgeon a while ago about being referred for pain management but that was months ago (possibly before Christmas) and I've heard nothing so maybe I'll get on to doctor about that again. Thanks for the advice!
Sorry to hear you have pain, and you're only young too. I have had pain in my left shoulder neck and arm for 6 weeks and I'm waiting for a MRI scan. What are your symptoms please?
Hiya, Severe pain that spreads from my neck round my shoulder right down my arm and sometimes my back... on a very very bad day I've seen the pain spread to my leg and find it very hard to walk. Arm and shoulder is very stiff and I can't lift my arm up much. I've had cortisones and all and they never helped. A heat pack is the only thing that will help to ease the pain a bit (I've heard cold helps for others) it's mostly the pain. Very very severe. Can't tie my own hair up or anything.
