I think im starting with post herpetic neuralgia after a bout of shingles, i have shooting pains in my back and leg and sometimes my leg feels numb, Feeling sorry for myself as I thought the worst was over silly me. I have looked PHN up on line and it does'nt look promising as it could go on for months or even years. I am not a great believer in pain killing drugs but that seems to be the only way at the moment.
