Hi everyone need some advice had kidney stent in for kidney stones for a week but when I go to the toilet it is still red 😔😥

Sounds like possibly a little blood from stent insertion. Contact doctor.

Dear Jose,

A week does seem a little long, to still be getting blood in the urine-not 'Drastic' but worth checking perhaps. I can think of a number of, both 'good', and 'bad' reasons why this might be occurring. Can I ask you why the stent was put in, it isn't always performed, for Kidney stones. The fact that you ARE going to the toilet, clearly without much difficulty, IS a very good sign, by the way.

I won't 'Rabbit on', too much, about Kidney Problems here but, if you do want further advice, I do have fairly good knowledge (I have had a Kidney Transplant).

Do have a 'Check Up', with you Doctors/Consultants Jose.
