Update on diagnoses

Hi all

I got diagnosed with EDS, POTS and possible tightened filum/tethered cord yesterday and also have a DX of sero-negative inflammatory arthritis and vasculitis which explains a lot of my pain. Still have the bilateral bursitis and the piriformis syndrome but am getting some injections today so hopefully the piriformis issue will improve.

I've had a big improvement in my nerve pain due to duloxetine and good physiotherapy so my walking and sitting have improved no end.

I will always have pain due to the arthritis and EDS but I feel much more confident about managing this now the nerve pain is improved.

Things can get better xx

It's always good to hear that someone's found something that works for them. You've got a lot going on so I'm sure even a little relief is better than nothing. X
