Had tkr 15 months ago so swollen and painful still, have to elevate most of the day, so fed up with it. Anyone else have this?

If it isn't right after all this time, insist on getting referred back to the specialist and getting it assessed again.

Hi,... I had bilateral TKR done last year. Left one in August - right one in December . Still in pain and swelling with my left and it has almost been a year.. Went for a second and third opinion to orthopedic specialists. They told me that I needed a revision due to instability and loosening.. So, it would not hurt to get another opinion somewhere else. I had a TKR Dec of 2013. I have constant pain. Still swollen and my doctor told me to give it 17 months. I'm sad that I wasn't told that my life would never be the same
