Dear Ricky 23

I'm sure 2013 will be a lovely year for you. Please don't worry about this or that having a negative impact on our disease. No one really knows. It's just guesswork so my advice to you is do what your heart and mind feels is right because it's important at the end of the day to have no regrets.

Enjoy Christmas in the knowledge that you're starting the HRT.

A Christmas present that they think is right for you, how nice is that! At the end of the day life is always a balancing act, and you had a real toughie to face in the context of your mum's health. You sound so buzzed by it is sounds to be the right thing for you, so go for it!

Happy Christmas
