Morning everyone.

I’ve finished chemo for first recurrence and my scan shows stable disease. Previously on Niraparib. Plan now is to have another scan in 3 months. Seems strange being on no medication. Discussed if any further maintenance treatment but advised scan in 3 months. Has this been the case for any of you other Sisters? xx

Well done, getting through all your treatment. That sounds as if it’s a really positive sign. A few of the members of our support group are on what sounds like a similar regime and are doing well. Wishing you all the best.

I only went on Niraparib after my first chemo so I can't help in that one tbh. After my second chemo I've been put in an oestrogen blocker. Didn't think I was going to get any meds, but that's what I've been put on. It's called Letrozole FYI.I can't see there being any harm in asking why there isn't an interim medication.

Yes. I agree with Jax.and, iIf Niraparib has kept disease stable it's doing something so why take you off it? Obviously, if it had shrunk it, it would have been better but I cannot see how doing nothing is much of a plan. Best of luck! 🙏🙏
