CA125 Keeps flucuating.. Scan stable.

Has anyone had rising CA125 with stable scans. CA125 over 6090

My CA125 has shot up from 17 to over 2200 since February, and until my most recent scan, there was virtually no change on my scans. The most recent one showed another couple of lymph nodes that had increased very slightly in size, but nothing that would obviously explain such a rise, especially as I've never had it go much over 200 even on recurrences. I had a nuclear medicine bone scan last week, as CT scans apparently don't give the best image of bones. I'm praying it hasn't got into my bones, but in the meantime, I started back on chemo a couple of days ago.

Hi. Can you ask for a pet scan? It shows cancer activity that might be too small to show on a ct scan. Good luck! I hope it’s not a recurrence.

I’ve been told that it takes a couple months for an increase in ca125 to actually be visible on a ct scan.
