Yes I think you’re right Sheila. A bit of self pampering and self tanning is just the ticket. I’m finding false eyelashes an impossible dream though. Happy Easter to you and the the other Healthunlockers!

Love from Angela xx

Hi Angela - have you tried magnet lashes - you paint a couple of coats of liner on, then when dry the lash sticks to it securely - I was pessimistic but they work really well no messy glue

I was concerned about this last summer & was advised by many to use Tropic beauty products. They are all natural & have self tanning products. Here’s a link to their website

tropicskincare.com/

They are fab. I have a fair few of their products.

Hope you find something you feel comfortable using xx

Hi, I used Dove last night on my legs one day after chemo seemed ok, making the most of less leg hair! But I stupidly put some on my face which is still really hot and flushed. I would just go for it, who needs pale legs and Cancer?

Hi, I used skinny tan fake tan in the summer without any problem whilst undergoing chemo and it gave me such a boost as I looked so healthy. In fact I had to go for a drain of ascites and the female consultant radiologist commented on how lucky I was to have tanned so well during stay at home lockdown! I had to admit it was fake and we then had a giggle and full discussion on the merits of fake tanning whilst the drain was being done! Very surreal but certainly took my mind off the procedure. Go for it, anything to make you feel better is a good thing . Sue x

Think we maybe the same age if your Brum1966 is anything to go by? Xx
