Results from first 2 infusions with Caelex

Just had third infusion of Caelyx yesterday. So went to my oncologist 1st to get blood test results and was a little disappointed. I was told the results would go up after the second which they did from 244 to 271 but they would start to fall by the third visit so it had fallen but only by 50 to 221. With only one more treatment scheduled, It was fairly obvious I was going to need to do more treatments so I booked in numbers five and six and hopefully that will get me down into the grey zone of under 35. I seem to be tolerating it quite well, hands little dry but very lethargic and tired all the time and the nausea doesn’t seem to really let up that much. But as long as I keep up the nausea meds I’m fine. I must start getting back on my supplements and maybe they’ll start giving me more energy. Although the doctor said my bloods were very good, all around the normal so he was quite pleased with everything. I haven’t lost any hair and I’m moisturising like crazy but I always have been very diligent with that before treatment so it’s not a new thing

Keith has not mentioned any combination of any other type of drug at this stage so I guess he’s just waiting to see what happens with this and then go on from

I hope everybody is dealing with Covid as well as possible. I feel so blessed to be here in Australia where we have things pretty much under control and I now feel as safe as I could ask for under the conditions. Even though I do get nervous when I go out, which I do as little as possible. I’m lucky that my husband works from home and does most of the day trips to the grocery store but I would like to go with him to just get those little extras that we tend to know we need.

I was happy to get my nails done the other day and pedicure especially that felt great. Vanity never stops, 😂
