Hi all,

Is anyone heard about new advances in treating high grade serous type? I'm from US - Texas but lately everything was somehow silent regarding new treatments or new discoveries.

Thanks for posting that link - finally, someone's looking at the issue of cancer stem cells, and not before time. Too late for me probably, but its long needed addressing, and I'm pleased to see someone is researching it. I also love the analogy of using chemo to treat (ovarian) cancer being like 'mowing the lawn'; it'll grow back. Very interesting article...

I'm doing Joe Tippins' protocol right now and have also delved into Jane McLelland's work "How to Starve Cancer." If you're in the UK (or US) it seems the way to go to battle those stem cells is through the Care Oncology Clinic's protocol. I have personally come to believe that it's going to take a combination of things (traditional treatment plus integrative) to deal with this stem cell issue. I recently had a meeting with my "integrative" oncologist and asked him, "So what are we doing about stem cells." His reply: "Nothing." Not acceptable. I'm on the hunt for the right protocol for me. I'm high grade serous stage 4 recurrent. In treatment for 2 years with only a minor remission.
