My mom, 57, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, May 19th, after a two and a half year diagnosis with ovarian cancer. She primarily browsed this site (under the username Lynn1962) but was extremely active on the Inspire forums. She found a lot of support and strength from her fellow teal sisters.
I am grateful that my mom was able to enjoy my wedding on May 11th that we quickly planned when my mom got ill from a SBO.

She was much too young to die and the torments she suffered were cruel and heartbreaking.
You did your research and yet, the outcome was not what you fought for.
I am so sorry your mother had to suffer so and I am so very sorry that you have lost her.
You tried your best, but you and your mother were dealt a very bad hand.
